FABTECH 2027, North America's largest metal forming, fabricating, welding and finishing event, takes place September 13-16, 2027 in Chicago, Illinois. The organiser has published the dates and city; the 2027 venue page is not yet live, and previous Chicago editions were held at McCormick Place. The 2026 edition ran October 21-23, 2026 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. US shows play by different rules

Exhibiting in the United States is structurally different from Europe. Booth height limits depend on your space type (inline, peninsula, island), line-of-sight rules restrict what you can build near neighboring booths, and venue labor at US convention centers follows union jurisdictions that decide who may plug in a cable or rig a sign. Freight moves through official drayage, priced by weight and handling. We design demo-first layouts: the machine or process at the corner with the longest sightline, consultation tables one step behind it, and storage hidden in the structure. If your team runs live welding or cutting, we handle the ventilation and safety review with the venue as part of the project.

Planning window

For a September show with US production, designs should be locked by the end of July, and earlier saves money: advance-order deadlines for venue services (rigging, electrical, internet) carry meaningful discounts that expire weeks before the show. Share your booth number and space type, and you will have a 3D concept and a transparent price band — production, drayage and labor included — within 24 hours.
