Hannover Messe 2027 runs 5-8 April at Deutsche Messe, Hannover, with Spain as Partner Country. Deutsche Messe publishes one figure that should shape your brief more than any other: nearly every second visitor is involved in investment decisions. That is not a marketing line — it is the reason a stand that works at a consumer show fails here. People arrive with a specification and a budget, and they want to talk to an engineer, not walk past a wall.

In practice it changes three things about the design. You need somewhere a four-person technical conversation can happen without shouting. You need the machine or product reachable — visitors will want to touch it, open it, ask what the tolerance is. And you need your documentation within arm's reach, because the question after “what does it do” is almost always “show me the data sheet.”

What Partner Country Spain means for 2027

The Partner Country brings a national presence and its own delegation programme, and it visibly shifts who walks the halls. For the 2027 edition that means Spanish industrial buyers, officials and press attending in numbers they otherwise would not. If you sell into Spain, or you are a Spanish supplier looking at the German market, this is the edition where the audience comes to you. If Spain is irrelevant to your pipeline, it still matters for a duller reason: hall pressure and contractor availability go up in the weeks around the show.

Building at a German venue

German exhibition grounds run on documentation. Stand construction drawings, material fire classifications, structural calculations for anything with a second level or suspended load, and electrical work through approved channels — these are not optional and they are not fast to produce retrospectively. Every edition has its own technical manual issued by the organiser, and the deadlines in it are real: miss the structural submission window and a two-storey stand becomes a single-storey stand.

We handle this as part of the build rather than leaving it with you, but we say the same thing to every client: get your hall and stand number confirmed before the design is finalised. Corner, island and in-line stands have different open sides, different visibility and different rigging options, and a layout drawn before allocation usually has to be redrawn after it.

Istanbul to Hannover

We produce in Istanbul and move by road. TIR to Hannover is a short European run — the customs formalities at the EU border are a bigger variable than the distance, which is why we clear ATA Carnet documentation before the truck loads rather than at the frontier. Sea freight makes no sense for this route; air freight is for the thing you forgot.

Working back from 5 April 2027: space confirmed by roughly mid-2026, design brief and 3D immediately after hall allocation, four to six weeks of Istanbul production, truck departing about two weeks before opening, and on-site assembly in the build-up days Deutsche Messe allocates. Starting after December 2026 is possible but narrows what you can build — bespoke joinery and long-lead finishes drop out first.
