Agrena 2026, the 26th edition, runs 15-17 October at the Cairo International Convention & Exhibition Centre. Egypt's poultry, livestock and fisheries exhibition drew 685 exhibitors and 21,000 visitors from 24 countries at its previous edition.

Egypt's protein sector is scaling

Poultry and aquaculture production in Egypt has been expanding under national food-security programmes, and that pulls demand for feed systems, housing equipment, incubation technology, veterinary products and processing lines. The buyers at Agrena are farm operators, integrators and distributors making equipment decisions for facilities being built now.

Show equipment as a system, not a catalogue

Livestock equipment sells on how it performs in a working house: ventilation curves, feed conversion, mortality reduction, cleaning cycles. Working models, sectioned housing components and installation photography from real farms convert better than product renders. Türkiye's position in this market

Turkish manufacturers of poultry equipment, feed systems and veterinary products already export significantly into Egypt and North Africa, and road freight keeps them competitive against European suppliers. The remaining gap is usually presence: a professional stand signals a supplier who intends to service the market long-term rather than sell a container and disappear. Arabic-language documentation and an Arabic-speaking team member change the quality of conversations noticeably.

Practical notes
