Porland — World of Coffee Brussels 2025 Stand

The 2025 World of Coffee edition at Brussels Expo was our second SCA European engagement of that year, following the Copenhagen build a month later. Brussels draws heavy Benelux traffic — Belgian, Dutch and Luxembourg specialty roasteries — plus adjacent French and German buyers.

Belgian specialty coffee culture leans toward precision and understated aesthetics. Porland's Brussels stand carried a cleaner, less styled version of the porcelain range than the Copenhagen edition — same collections, different presentation register. Working espresso and pour-over demo stations returned, but with a matte-white material palette rather than the Copenhagen wood emphasis.

Two SCA engagements in the same year lets us test how the same porcelain range reads across different European specialty markets. Copenhagen's Scandinavian aesthetic and Brussels' Belgian precision received subtly different stand treatments — same brand story, different regional dialect. That kind of iteration is only possible because we design stands as a system rather than as one-off builds.
