AYMOD International Footwear Fashion Fair runs 7–10 October 2026 at CNR EXPO, Istanbul. Organised by TASD Fuarcılık — the trade-fair arm of the Turkish Footwear Industrialists' Association — the organiser reports 250+ exhibiting companies, 750+ brands, 15,000+ visitors from 35+ countries and 40,000 m² of floor.

A venue note worth checking before you plan travel: İFM's own fair listing shows AYMOD, but the organiser's site says CNR EXPO. We follow the organiser. Confirm with TASD when you book.

Footwear stands sell by display density, and that is a trap

A footwear stand has a problem other sectors do not: you have hundreds of SKUs and every buyer wants to see the range. The instinct is to put everything out. The result is a wall of shoes that reads as a warehouse and photographs badly.

What works on this floor:

Edit hard at the front, hold depth behind. A curated front display of the season's story, with the full range accessible in pull-out storage or a back wall your team works from. The buyer who wants SKU 247 gets it in ten seconds; the buyer walking past sees a brand, not an inventory.

Seating is not optional. Footwear buying involves handling and comparing — a buyer who cannot sit down does not go deep into your range. The number of seats per square metre is a real design decision here, not a nicety.

Lighting for material, not for brightness. Leather, suede, patent and textile all behave differently under the same lamp. Patent throws glare, suede eats light. A single flat lighting scheme makes half your range look wrong.

Twice a year, and what that means for budget

AYMOD runs two editions annually — the 2026 dates were 25–28 March and 7–10 October. The organiser has not published a spring 2027 date. We will not guess one; when TASD publishes it, we will add it here.

That cadence is an argument for a stand designed to be rebuilt. If you exhibit at both editions, the structure, storage system and lighting rig carry over and only the graphics and the range change. Two separate builds a year is a budget most footwear brands do not need to carry.

Timing on the October edition: it is three weeks away as we publish. That is not a custom-build window. A modular stand with fresh graphics is realistic; a ground-up build is not, and we would tell you that rather than take the brief.

CNR EXPO is in Yeşilköy, our side of the city. Our workshop is a city delivery away, which means build-up problems get fixed the same day rather than becoming a gap in your display for four days. No freight line, no customs file, no carnet — and for a Turkish footwear brand exhibiting in its own city, none of that should be in the quote in the first place.
