FIB — the Bogotá International Industry Fair — runs 28 September to 2 October 2026 at Corferias in Bogotá. Five days at Colombia's principal exhibition centre puts suppliers in front of the Andean region's manufacturing buyers: Colombian industry plus visiting delegations from Ecuador, Peru and Central America.

Latin America rewards presence, not visits

The Andean market buys from suppliers it can see continuing to show up. A one-time appearance rarely converts; a well-built stand that returns and gets photographed into local trade press starts a relationship. That argues for a stand designed to be re-used at Corferias across editions — a kit stored regionally rather than shipped from Europe each time. We plan Latin American projects that way when a client intends to build a market rather than test one.

Corferias logistics and local build

Corferias is a large, well-organized venue in central Bogotá with its own accredited contractor system. Importing a finished stand into Colombia means customs, temporary-import paperwork and a long ocean transit — for most exhibitors, local fabrication under our design management is faster and materially cheaper. We produce drawings, specification and finish standards; regional partners build to them; our supervision closes the quality gap.

What the stand has to communicate

Colombian and regional buyers weigh after-sales heavily: spare parts availability, technical support in Spanish, and lead times that account for shipping distance. That belongs on the stand, not just in the conversation — a panel that states support arrangements does more selling than a product beauty shot. Spanish-language graphics are essential, not optional.

Timing
