PLMA's 2026 Private Label Trade Show runs 15-17 November at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, Chicago. The Sunday is registration and pre-show seminars; the show floor itself is open Monday and Tuesday. That two-day floor is when the year's private-label supply decisions for US retail get made.

Do not confuse this with Amsterdam

PLMA runs two shows and they are frequently mixed up in planning documents. "World of Private Label" is the Amsterdam event; the Chicago show is the US Private Label Trade Show, sometimes branded "Store Brands Marketplace". Different continent, different dates, different buyers. Verify which one your booking refers to before producing anything.

A private-label stand sells capability, not brand

This is the one food show where your own brand is almost irrelevant. Retail buyers are assessing whether you can produce their brand: capacity, certifications, packaging formats, minimum runs, lead times and consistency. The stand should read like a capability statement — production capacity displayed as figures, certification wall (BRC, IFS, FDA registration, organic), packaging format samples, and private-label work you have already done for other markets, presented without breaching confidentiality.

Meeting capacity beats display area

Buyers arrive with appointment schedules. A stand that can host three simultaneous private conversations outperforms a larger one that can host none. US production, no freight window
