The two sites have different logistics, different access rules and different cost structures, and planning for the wrong one is an expensive mistake we see every season.

Le Bourget is not Porte de Versailles

Le Bourget offers generous vehicle access and simpler load-in than the tight urban docks of Porte de Versailles — good news for exhibitors with heavy storage cabinets or full racking displays. But services, riggers and accredited contractors are venue-specific in Paris, and French fairs enforce contractor accreditation strictly. We build in Paris regularly, with the venue paperwork, insurance certificates and French-compliant electrical documentation handled as part of the project, not left to the exhibitor.

What the French solar buyer looks for

France's solar market runs on tenders, certifications and long-term operator relationships. The stand that works at Le Bourget leads with credibility: certification logos where they are seen, reference projects presented as evidence rather than decoration, and a proper seated meeting area — French B2B conversations are structured and unhurried, and hospitality quality is noticed.
