I/ITSEC is the largest modelling, simulation and training event in the world, and almost every exhibit is a live system: simulators, trainers, projection domes, motion platforms. This is not a fair where products sit on plinths.

What that demands from the build

Power distribution, cable management, sightlines and — above all — noise are the design problem. Dozens of running simulators create an acoustic environment in which a normal conversation is impossible unless the stand is planned to shield it. Demo positions and meeting positions cannot share the same volume.

Orlando build reality

The Orange County Convention Center's unionised labour rules govern rigging, power drops and material handling, and the sequence in which they are booked determines whether a technically demanding build is ready on opening morning. Systems that need commissioning need the earliest possible slot.
