Istanbul Kent University — Preference Days 2025 Booth

University-preference fairs in Türkiye are unlike almost any other exhibition. The visitors are 18-year-old prospective students, often accompanied by anxious parents, moving through dozens of university booths in the same afternoon. Attention spans are short. Decision urgency is high.

Kent University's stand had to be legible from ten metres — programme names in the largest possible type, campus visuals dominant, brochure racks positioned at natural conversation height. We built a modular open-front stand with clear zoning: general info counter, programme-specific advisor tables, and a photo-op corner for family photos next to the university logo.

The unspoken metric at these fairs is not visitor count but application-form uptake. Our stand geometry — no counter walls to hide behind — made it easy for undecided students to approach without commitment. That approach threshold matters more than any visual flourish.
