METAL 2026, the international fair of technologies for foundry, runs 22-24 September at Targi Kielce in Poland. Previous editions have attracted over 200 companies from more than 20 countries, and the show sits alongside Kielce's cluster of industrial fairs that make the venue Central Europe's second-busiest fairground after Poznań.

Foundry buyers come to see process, not product

Casting technology sells on demonstrable capability: sand systems, furnaces, moulding lines, refractories and metrology. Very little of that fits on a stand, so what you show has to substitute for a plant visit. The strongest METAL stands use sectioned samples with defect comparisons, short looping process video at eye level, and a table where a foundry engineer can put down a casting and talk about porosity. That is a design problem — it means bench space, task lighting and somewhere to store dirty samples out of sight.

Poland is a build market, not just a sales market

Poland has strong, cost-competitive exhibition fabrication, and Targi Kielce is well served by local contractors. We manage Polish projects with local production under our own design and supervision, which keeps quality consistent with our German and Turkish work while keeping cost inside the Central European band. For Turkish suppliers, this matters: shipping a stand from Türkiye to Kielce rarely beats building it locally once transport, customs handling and crew travel are counted.

Central European positioning

Polish, Czech and Slovak foundries buy on a mix of price and reliability, and they check references. A stand that puts your installed base on the wall — plants, countries, years in service — outperforms one that talks about innovation in the abstract. Bring the reference list; design a place for it.
