UMAMI Arena 2027 runs 16-18 February at NOVA Spektrum in Lillestrøm, just outside Oslo — the meeting point for Norway's food and beverage industry, from producers and importers to hospitality and retail buyers.

Norway is a high-cost market that buys on quality

Norwegian buyers pay for products that hold up: provenance, certification, cold-chain integrity and consistency of supply. Price-led messaging works poorly here. The stand should carry the same signals your product does — considered materials, precise assembly, restrained graphics and lighting that flatters food rather than flooding it. February in Norway is a logistics constraint

A mid-February show means winter transport across Scandinavia: ferry and road schedules run tighter, weather delays are normal, and build-up windows do not move. We plan Nordic winter projects with an extra transport buffer and a build sequence that can absorb a late delivery without losing the stand. For clients bringing chilled or frozen product, cold-chain planning from arrival through dismantle is part of the project, not an afterthought.

NOVA Spektrum is a modern venue with straightforward loading and good rail access from Oslo — Lillestrøm is a short train ride from the city, which matters for staffing the stand economically over three days. Venue regulations on materials, rigging and food handling are handled in our project documentation ahead of build-up.

Timing

The show opens 16 February 2027, which puts the comfortable production window in November-December 2026 — before the Nordic holiday shutdown, not after it.
