Demirören Media — TEKNOFEST 2025 Activation Stand

TEKNOFEST is unlike any other Turkish event: over a million public visitors across a week, mixed with drone-competition finalists, government-programme launches, and near-continuous broadcast media presence. For a media group like Demirören, the stand doubles as a working studio for interviews and a public engagement piece.

We built a hybrid structure — one half studio-lit for on-camera work (soundproofed to reduce festival noise interference, tunable-white key lights), the other half a public-facing engagement area with lower-third graphics, interactive touchscreens for reader-app promotions and family photo backdrops.

Broadcast-grade lighting inside an outdoor festival tent is a specific technical problem: you need soft key lights that don't blow out the exposure, plus power redundancy because festival grid drops happen. Both got engineered into the stand from the start rather than added at build-day.
