Big 5 Construct Worldwide — All 2026-2027 Dates & Venues | Stand Builder

Big 5 is not one exhibition. It is a portfolio dmg events has been building for over 45 years, and it now runs in nine countries — with Istanbul joining in 2027. If you sell building products internationally, the question is not whether to do Big 5, it is which one, and the answer depends on what you sell and who buys it.

Every date below was taken from that edition's own organiser site in September 2026 and checked against the calendar. Where an organiser has not published a date, we say so rather than projecting last year's pattern forward.

2026

• •Big 5 Construct Nigeria — 22–24 September 2026 (Tue–Thu), Landmark Centre, Lagos. The organiser reports 170+ exhibitors from 20+ countries.
• •Big 5 Construct Kenya — 21–23 October 2026 (Wed–Fri), Sarit Expo Centre, Nairobi.
• •Big 5 Global — 23–26 November 2026 (Mon–Thu), Dubai World Trade Centre. The flagship, and the one most people mean when they say "Big 5".

2027

• •Big 5 Construct Ethiopia — 8–10 April 2027 (Thu–Sat), Addis Ababa.
• •Big 5 Construct Saudi, first edition — 24–27 May 2027 (Mon–Thu), Riyadh Front, Riyadh. Themed Architecture & Finishes, co-located with Marble and Stone, Urban Design & Landscape, and Windows, Doors and Facades Saudi Arabia.
• •Big 5 Construct South Africa — 8–10 June 2027 (Tue–Thu), Gallagher Convention Centre, Johannesburg.
• •Big 5 Construct Egypt — 14–16 June 2027 (Mon–Wed), Egypt International Exhibition Center, Cairo.
• •Big 5 Construct Saudi, second edition — 19–22 September 2027 (Sun–Wed), Riyadh Front. Themed Construction & Building Services, co-located with FM & Clean, HVACR Saudi Arabia and Saudi Wood Expo.
• •Big 5 Construct Türkiye — 15–17 September 2027 (Wed–Fri), Istanbul Expo Center. First edition, co-located with Türkiye Infrastructure Expo.

Not announced: Big 5 Construct Qatar's site still shows 14–16 October 2025. No later edition has been published. Big 5 Construct China and a Syria edition appear in dmg's portfolio listing without published dates.

Two things in this calendar cost people money

Riyadh split in two, by theme. Until 2027 Saudi was one show. Now a stone or facade supplier belongs in May and an HVAC, facilities or timber supplier belongs in September. Book the wrong one and you spend the week in a hall of buyers who are not looking for your product. The full Saudi breakdown is here.

Riyadh and Istanbul are five days apart. Big 5 Saudi's September edition runs 19–22 September 2027; Big 5 Construct Türkiye runs 15–17 September 2027. Doing both means dismantling in Istanbul on the Friday and being on stand in Riyadh on the Sunday. It is possible — we have run tighter turnarounds — but it needs two stand sets or a build designed from the start to travel, and it needs deciding now, not in June.

Which edition fits you

Dubai is the one to do if you are testing international demand and want the widest buyer mix in one week. Riyadh is where the money is if your product fits Vision 2030 procurement, but pick the right themed edition. Cairo, Nairobi, Lagos, Addis and Johannesburg are regional shows — smaller, cheaper, and worth it when you already have a distributor or want one in that market. Istanbul in 2027 is the unknown: a first edition with no attendance history, which is an argument for a strong presence rather than your flagship build.
