EMCO joined IDEF 2025 with a stand geared toward systems-integration briefings — the technical conversation category that closes tier-1 sub-contracts. Focus: platform-level demo screens and prime-contractor liaison area.
What this build had to solve
The fair
IDEF is Türkiye's biennial international defence industry exhibition and one of the few fairs where the visitor you build for is a state delegation rather than a walk-in buyer. Traffic arrives in escorted, scheduled groups, which changes what a stand must do.
The venue
For a subsystem supplier the decisive venue factor is neighbourhood, not floor loading. Being within walking distance of the prime contractors it supplies is worth more than any amount of extra area elsewhere in the hall.
The sector
A subsystem supplier is not selling to the visiting delegation directly — it is selling to the prime contractors exhibiting in the same hall. That makes proximity and peer credibility matter more than public visibility.
The build
Compact footprint with the technical content forward, planned so an engineer from a neighbouring stand can walk over and get a straight answer in five minutes.
