About the Project
Istanbul Kent University's booth at the 7th Istanbul Education and Career Fair, held at the Istanbul Lütfi Kırdar Convention and Exhibition Center, prioritized the visitor experience. With its dynamic design, the booth created an engaging atmosphere, featuring VR zones, a mini conference area, information kiosks, and a cozy library corner.
What this build had to solve
The fair
An education fair is a recruitment event with a very short decision window. Students and parents walk the hall together, and the parent is usually the one asking about outcomes while the student is looking at everything else.
The venue
Education fairs are dense, loud and short. Families move fast and compare stands side by side, so anything that takes more than a glance to understand is skipped in favour of the neighbour.
The sector
A university is selling a four-year commitment, which nothing on a stand can prove. What the stand can do is make the institution feel substantial and give staff a proper place to answer the one question that matters to each family.
The build
Several parallel counselling positions instead of one desk, because a single queue at an education fair means every family behind it walks to another university.
