Istanbul Kent University
University Preference Days 2025

About the Project
The Turkish university-preference period is a compressed recruiting window — a few weeks after YKS results when high-school graduates decide where to apply. Kent University's stand was built for volume conversation with anxious 18-year-olds.
What this build had to solve
The fair
University Preference Days are the narrowest window in higher education: they run in the days after exam results, when students are actively choosing. Nobody is browsing — every visitor is about to make a decision.
The venue
Preference-period events are compressed and heavily attended, and the queue is the whole problem. A family that waits ten minutes goes to the university next door instead.
The sector
At this moment the question is no longer whether the university is good but whether a specific score gets a specific programme. The stand is an advisory desk more than a marketing asset.
The build
Maximum parallel advisory positions in the available area, with everything else stripped out — at this event capacity is the design.
