About the Project
SAHA Expo has grown into Türkiye's leading defence sub-industry fair — the meeting point for tier-2 and tier-3 defence suppliers. METU Technopark represented its defence-focused portfolio startups on a shared pavilion stand.
What this build had to solve
The fair
METU Technopark exhibits as a cluster, not as a company: the stand carries a portfolio of startups that change between events. That is a different brief from a corporate stand — the identity has to belong to the technopark while each startup still gets a place to stand and talk.
The venue
SAHA Expo is a defence hall, and a technopark stand sits there among prime contractors with far larger budgets. Being outspent is a given, so the plan was to be clearly legible rather than to compete on scale.
The sector
In defence the visitor is looking for suppliers who can pass qualification, so a cluster stand has to make the individual companies findable — an investor-style portfolio wall does not answer the question a procurement officer is asking.
The build
Company-level identification built into the structure rather than added as graphics, so a visitor can find one member firm without reading the whole wall.
