About the Project
IDEF 2025 was Türkiye's flagship biennial defence industry fair. PeakEye's stand focused on optics and ISR (intelligence-surveillance-reconnaissance) demonstrations for delegation-level defence buyers and NATO allies.
What this build had to solve
The fair
IDEF is Türkiye's biennial international defence industry exhibition and one of the few fairs where the visitor you build for is a state delegation rather than a walk-in buyer. Traffic arrives in escorted, scheduled groups, which changes what a stand must do.
The venue
An optical product cannot be demonstrated under open hall lighting, so the real venue constraint is light rather than load. The demo position had to be shielded from the hall's own illumination without turning the stand into a closed box.
The sector
Electro-optical systems are judged on performance data, not on appearance — the product is a sealed unit and the argument lives in the specification. The stand has to create the conditions for a technical demonstration rather than a display.
The build
Controlled-light demo position, because an optical product shown under open hall lighting cannot demonstrate the thing it is sold on.
