About the Project
BSDA — Black Sea Defense Aerospace at Romexpo Bucharest — is the region's dedicated defence exhibition. Türkiye's SSB (Defence Industries Presidency) delegation pavilion consolidated multiple Turkish primes under one national umbrella stand.
What this build had to solve
The fair
A national pavilion is a different brief from a company stand. Dozens of separate firms need their own identity while the whole must still read as one country from across the hall. The grid has to be strict enough to look deliberate and open enough that no exhibitor feels buried.
The venue
Black Sea Defense and Aerospace is a regional show, which means a national presence there is competing for attention against fewer but more focused neighbours. Position within the hall matters more than total area.
The sector
A defence agency pavilion represents an industry rather than a product line. Its job is to make a national supply base look coherent and reachable to a regional buyer who does not know which company to approach first.
The build
A single entry point with company positions arranged behind it, so the visitor meets the country first and is then routed to the right firm.
